Hello world on the last Monday of this year.
Wow, and what a year… don’t know about you but for me 2013 had it ALL.
New beginnings, painful endings, hello’s and goodbyes. It had great moments but mostly a lot of mixed emotions. I’m usually a positive person (at least i try hard) but let me tell you dear 2013, you Knocked me OUT! Yes you did. So, i decided to clean myself up from you… i picked a huge box and through inside all the bad memories, all the people who hurt me, the challenges i faced, the bad behaviors, anger, darkness, energy vampires who live by sucking your life out etc.etc.etc. This box is locked today away.
So, for 2014 i will travel along with happiness, health, love, joy and people around me who carry the same feelings.
Wish you all Happy New Beginnings! Happy New Thoughts! Happy Positive Living!
Love to all the planet!
Virtual Sanity – The fall 2013 campaign from Chanel enlists Soo Joo, Chiharu Okunugi and Ashleigh Good for a series of futuristic-themed portraits photographed by the brand’s creative director, Karl Lagerfeld. The trio poses–even sometimes floating with their accessories in tow for the French fashion house’s trademark tweeds, lean silhouettes and camellia flower accents.
Resort 2014 Trends have a lot of surprises this year. A great one is the Gold Takeover. I love Gold as a color since it represents the The color of enlightenment and divine protection. When seen within the aura, it says that the person is being guided by their highest good.
“From Lanvin to Gucci, labels went for the gold with looks dipped in metallic. This trend can go from day to night with relaxed suiting and elegant dresses. Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz brought his own unique take on the trend with an off the shoulder dress while Acne Studios and Gucci offered pantsuits in the metallic hue.”
In today’s world, lead by consumption we have created the so called “non-value for money” economical model. That is, almost everything is over- valued and what you get is not always what you think!
Off course this has lead us to over consumption of un useful things (quite excellent for major industries) and lack of true value estimation.
Apparently this era is coming to an end and people are starting to feel more price sensitive, they seek for value for money proposals and most of all they switch to Eco-friendly & ethical products.
We @usednotconfused believe that recycled, preloved fashion gives you the chance to find amazing products, designer items in excellent condition and in value for money prices.
By purchasing preloved & vintage clothing and accessories you get the unique chance of finding unique masterpieces.
